Bible Saturday 3/12: The Offer

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 28:1-9. Verses 6 and 7, how can I be sure God has heard me when it seems he hasn’t? How can I trust his help when it’s not evident? How can his silence be an answer to my prayer?

Jeremiah 25:1-38. Verses 3-10, related question, when have I had to learn the hard lesson that the problem was me not hearing God, rather than him not hearing me? Present application?

Matthew 19:13-22. In what form, other than financial, might I be clinging to the great possessions that Jesus says bar the way to my finding treasure in heaven? Action point?
