Bible Monday 5/30: Over and Above

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 77:1-20. Verses 3, 6, 10, 11 KJV, when things are tough, what’s the benefit of remembering God? How can I go about doing so today?

Ezekiel 45:1-25. Verses 8-12, warning the powerful to rule justly. Is my church a voice for justice in our community? My role?

Ephesians 3:8-21. Verse 20, on what matter have I recently been making hesitant or cautious prayers, where God would have me make big, bold prayers?

John 15:9-17. Verse 12, toward what person shall I try and “be Christ” today, giving of myself in the Jesus way of loving sacrificially?
