Bible Thursday 6/2: Joy Unbounded

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 78:41-72. Verse 41, in what way have I been limiting God with my worries about some current problem?

Ezekiel 48:1-35. God’s precise allocations of land to the tribes. Have I been regarding him as unwilling or unable to enter into the smallest details of my concerns?

Ephesians 4:25-5:7. Verses 26 and 31, what tends to make me angry? How can I become more the master of my temper with God’s help?

John 16:16-24. If I do all things today with the joy that Jesus gives, how will the day be better? How will others notice?
