Bible Thursday 7/7: Interruptible

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 18:1-50. Verse 28, in what specific way do I need to have God light a candle in my darkness today?

I Samuel 31:1-13. Saul and his three sons die in battle. What was the saddest day of my life? How did God show up, what did I learn? Present application?

Acts 10:1-8. God singles out Cornelius for a mighty purpose. If there is any one thing for which God has singled me out, what would that be? First step today?

Mark 5:21-43. Jesus, urgently summoned to help a dying girl, is interrupted by a desperate woman. What qualities in Jesus made him so interruptible? How can I be more interruptible today?
