Bible Tuesday 10/28: Mystery Revealed

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 144:1-15. Verse 15, what are some false sources of happiness that I must refuse to be fooled by? What will genuine happiness look like for me today as I focus on knowing and serving the one true God?

II Chronicles 5:1-14. Solomon presides as the ark of the covenant takes up residence in the completed temple. How can I experience today even a little of the presence of the Lord with clouds of glory?

Colossians 1:19-29. What new possibilities are mine today as a result of Jesus having made peace for me through the blood of his cross?

Luke 19:11-27. How does Jesus want me to invest and multiply the spiritual wealth he has entrusted to me? How shall I avoid the fearful, defensive mistakes of a faithless servant?
