Psalms 46:1-11. Verse 10, what are some struggles or problems in my life today that I can yield over completely to God, simply being still and knowing that his sovereign grace and power will see me through?
Deuteronomy 7:1-26. Moses reminds Israel of their origin story, how God redeemed them from bondage in Egypt. What’s my origin story as an adopted child of God? What does the future hold for me as a result?
Hebrews 8:1-13. Verse 8, God makes a new covenant with his people through the priesthood of Jesus Christ. What can I expect from God under this covenant? What does he expect of me?
Matthew 5:38-42. Jesus preaches his daring ethic of non-resistance, turning the other cheek and going the second mile. When have I done this for someone, or received it? Application for today?
