Bible Monday 11/21: Morning Star

Psalm 106:1-48. With what "inventions" do I provoke God's anger (verse 29)?

Isaiah 26:1-21. What concrete steps can I take today to "stay my mind on God" and so experiences his peace (verses 3, 12, 20)?

Revelation 2:18-29. As one solitary individual, not prominent, how would I realistically make use of what God promises here: "power over the nations... a rod of iron... the morning star" (verses 26-28)?

Luke 21:29-33. Jesus having promised that his words will never pass away (verse 33), how consistently did I base my thoughts and actions upon them during the past week?

These are some of the questions I asked myself in studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide. Click and see what you think.  Where is your self-examination leading today?
