Bible Thursday 12/29: Potter's Clay

Psalm 18;1-50. Where in my life would I have God better equip me to spiritually walk or run (verse 33). Where would I have him equip me better for spiritual warfare (verse 34)?

Isaiah 64:1-12. What attitudes keep me from being as submissive to God's purpose and plan as the clay is to the potter (verse 8)? What small step of correction can I take today?

Matthew 24:45-51. Of course I don't see in the mirror a disloyal servant of God, an abuser and a drunk (verse 49), but on closer inspection don't I have such tendencies?

Matthew 25:1-13. What simple "keepable" resolutions can I make for 2017 to live with more of the spiritual watchfulness and preparedness that Jesus commands here?

These are some of the questions I asked myself in studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide. Click and see what you think. Where is your self-examination leading today?
