Bible Saturday 11/4: Healing Day

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalm 55:1-23. Verse 22 KJV, what burden have I been lugging around that God is just waiting to shoulder if I would only let him?

II Chronicles 15:1-19. The prophet speaks God's call for revival, and the king leads it. What would revival look like in my church and my whole city over the coming year, practically speaking?

James 4:7-17. Verse 7, in what specific way do I most need to resist the devil today? If it's done by submitting to God, drawing near him, what does that require of me?

Luke 14:1-6. That Sabbath at that house was a healing day because Jesus showed up. How do we invite him to show up this Sunday at my church and make it a healing day?
