Bible Tuesday 12/12: Grapes of Wrath

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalm 36:1-12. Verse 9 KJV, God's light shows us light. What kinds of false light do I sometimes rely on? What situation or need in my life would look different in his true light?

Daniel 5:1-31. Does a severe judgment await America's leaders for defying the living God? When and how might this occur? What's expected of me and my church in this regard?

Revelation 14:14-20. Related question, how should I live day to day, do or not do, if earth's harvest of grapes to the winepress might come at any time?

Luke 22:24-34. Verse 31, if Satan even today desires to stalk me and sift me, what form might that take? What's my defense? Having prevailed, how would I then strengthen others?
