Bible Wednesday 5/24: The Call

Psalm 68:1-35. Who is fatherless, or widowed, or solitary and without family, that I could help in God's name today (verses 5, 6)?

Exodus 31:1-18. God's commissioning of master builders here (verses 2-6) reminds he has a call on every believer's life, not just formal ministry. How can I see deeper into his call on my life?

I Corinthians 9:1-18. Verses 7-11 make me ask, am I fully aware of God's harvest in my life, financially and in other ways? How can I more fittingly thank the individuals and institutions that planted it?

John 8:43-59. If Jesus predated Abraham, shouldn't I be looking for him on every page of the Old Testament (see also John 5:39, 46)? How would that change my view and application of the Bible?
