Bible Saturday 6/17: Cherish Babies

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalm 75:1-10. Amid grave concerns about political, economic, military, and cultural trends, do I really believe God is in full authority, working out his good purpose (verses 6-9)? Prayer point?

Leviticus 12:1-8. Does my church cherish every baby as a gift from God and every woman as God's vessel for that gift, in the same measure that Scripture cherishes them? If not, why not? Action point?

I Corinthians 15:50-58. Verse 58 KJV, how can this precept and promise help me or someone close to me who may feel their labor for God today is in vain?

John 19:31-42. Nicodemus (verse 39 contrast with chapters 3 & 7) exemplifies the seeker of Jesus who becomes a sympathizer and finally a believer. Whom can I help along that road today?
