Bible Sunday 6/18: Great Door

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalm 96:1-13. Who do I know that expresses the beauty of holiness (verse 9, KJV)? What does that look like to someone who is not a person of faith? How can I express it today?

Leviticus 13:1-59. Realizing how lepers were feared and quarantined, what do we learn about Jesus from his willingness to touch them and his ability to heal them?

I Corinthians 16:1-12. Verse 9, what great door is open for me right now as a witness for Jesus Christ? What adversaries come with the territory? Prayer point for today?

Mark 1:1-8. What can I learn from John the Baptist about honoring God and witnessing for Jesus?
