Bible Monday 7/31: Station WII-FM

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalm 56:1-13. Verse 4 KJV, what is my worst fear right now? What shall I pray God to do in relation to that?

Numbers 29:1-40. Why have many Christians gotten away from observing a sacred calendar as the church used to do, picking up from the Jews' holy days in this and the previous chapter? Does it matter?

Acts 18:1-11. Verses 9 and 10, as Paul is told here that Jesus has many people in Corinth ready to come to faith, isn't such guidance also available to me and my church if we evangelize fearlessly?

Mark 10:32-45. Is my agenda as a Christian sometimes more about what's in it for me (WII-FM) than what I can do for Christ crucified and risen? Action point for today?
