Bible Monday 8/21: Caleb

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalm 106:1-48. Verses 19-21, what idols am I tempted to bow down before? In what way to I tend to worship the creature instead of the Creator? Prayer point?

Joshua 14:1-15. Verses 10-11, what's my definition of a Godly old age, in addition to physical vitality? Who do I know that models this? Action point?

Acts 22:30 - 23:10. Verse 6 KJV, why is the hope of resurrection important in my life right now, not merely when death approaches?

Mark 14:12-21. Verse 14 again illustrates, as we saw earlier in Mark 11:3, how Jesus as God incarnate foreknew and prearranged all things. What big unknown in my life can I entrust to him today?
