Bible Wednesday 10/4: Evangelism 101

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalm 101:1-8. Verse 3 KJV, what are three wicked things I'm tempted to gaze on, materially or spiritually? Which is the subtlest? What am I doing about it? Prayer point?

I Chronicles 13:1-14. In David's conduct and Uzza's fate, what's the lesson or warning for me as a modern-day Christian?

II Corinthians 8:16-24. Who shares closely in my faith life as Titus and the unnamed brother (perhaps Luke or Barnabas) shared with Paul? How shall I guard and deepen that relationship?

Luke 9:1-9. Taking this as Jesus' how-to for his emissaries, Evangelism 101, what guidance does it give for my interactions with people over the next few days?
