Bible Saturday 2/3: Thank a Pastor

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 23:1-6. Verse 5, what would God setting me a table while enemies look on, amount to in practical terms right now? What specific form would answered prayer take?

Jeremiah 3:1-25. God grieves at the betrayal by Israel, his bride. How has the church in my lifetime been a less than faithful spouse to Jesus our bridegroom? Action point?

Hebrews 13:1-17. Verses 7 and 17, how can I go out of my way this weekend to show love, honor, and gratitude to someone in pastoral or ministry work?

Luke 2:41-52. Verse 49, humanly busy as I may have to be today, can I frequently check myself on the best attitude or activity that also keeps me "about my Father's business"?
