Bible Monday 1/8: One or the Other

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 1:1-6, Verse 3, which of these markers of the godly man or woman is least evident in my experience? What must I do and not do in order to have more of that?

Deuteronomy 11:1-32. Verses 26-28, what other "kinds of day" do I allow as possibilities for myself than the simple options God gives here, a blessed day or a cursed day? Is that valid?

Titus 1:1-16. Verses 6-9, taking this as a checklist for any man's or woman's fitness to be a "steward of God" (KJV), on what points have I markedly grown? On what points do I need growth?

Matthew 4:12-17. Would a non-believer, though unfamiliar with the term, notice that I live like the kingdom of heaven is at hand? How would I explain that term to him?
