Bible Saturday 3/17: Wise & Simple

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 33:1-22. KJV verse 10, counsel of the heathen, and verse 11, counsel of the Lord. What is each specifically telling me today? What are the consequences if I obey one or the other?

Isaiah 45:1-25. [corrected] Verses 9 and 10, in what way am I tempted to second-guess God or tell him how to do better about something in my world right now? Antidote?

Romans 16:17-27. Verse 26, Paul ends the letter just as he began it (1:2), anchored on Scripture. Are my thought and life more Bible-anchored now than a year ago? Steps I can take?

Matthew 19:13-15. Studies say youth are leaving the faith because we didn't ground them in Christ as children. How is my church doing on this? What else can I do myself?
