Bible Sunday 5/20: Simultaneous Translation

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 118:1-29. Verse 16, God has a right hand because he is a person, not just a principle or pattern. Specifically how do I want to see God's hand move, grip, or act in my life today?

I Samuel 1:1-28. Verse 27, what is the most significant answered prayer I have experienced lately? What else could I be doing to thank God for it, and to testify of it to others?

Acts 2:1-21. Apart from foreign languages, who is there in my life right now that I need the Spirit's help communicating with, across a gulf of age or culture or class? Prayer point?

John 7:37-39. If through Jesus I could have this living water flow out of me to others, how would that look in everyday terms? Am I there? If not, what must I do?
