Bible Friday 9/21: Nevertheless

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 73:1-28. Verse 23 KJV, what problem in my life right now, where God seems absent, calls for me to say “nevertheless” and stand firm on his promises and power?

Job 28:1-28. Verse 24, when have I sinned with the rationale that God won’t see, God won’t notice? How did it turn out? What did I learn?

II Corinthians 10:1-11. Verses 3-5, what are the specific battle lines of this warfare in my mind and heart right now? Action point?

Luke 3:23-38. Where did I stand with God at age 30? What were the spiritual turning points for me before that time and since? How much am I the product of my ancestry? Of what else?
