Bible Sunday 9/9: Look It Up

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 103:1-22. Verse 4 KJV, what if I were to view each person in my life today, myself included, as personally crowned with God's love and favor?

Job 16:1-22. Verse 19 KJV, on my page in God's book, what is recorded about me -- my merits, my demerits, my destiny, and Jesus' role in all of that?

II Corinthians 2:2 - 3:3. Verse 11, what are some of Satan's devices that I'm alert to? Where am I most vulnerable to him taking advantage of me?

Mark 14:32-42. Verse 36, how can I work "Your will, not mine" more obediently into my daily walk with God? Where is the point of greatest need for this obedience in my life right now?
