Bible Wednesday 1/30: Dr. Jesus

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 119:49-72. Verse 61 KJV, what do the world, the flesh, and the Devil seek to steal from me today, if I let them? What’s my defense in God?

Genesis 30:1-43. Rivalries, Rachel vs. Leah, Jacob vs. Laban. To please God better, what should my family do less of, or do more of?

Hebrews 4:4-5:4. Verse 15, what am I going through that’s hard, which I can specifically ask Jesus to identify with on the basis of his humanity as “fully man”?

Matthew 9:9-13. If Jesus came to my town today, who would he immediately start hanging out with, that I make a point of avoiding? Action point?
