Bible Wednesday 2/6: Highly Valued

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 72:1-20. Verse 4, how can I and my church do more for the poor, the needy, and the oppressed?

Genesis 37:1-36. Verses 5-9, Joseph’s dreams. Where is God in this chapter? When have I tripped myself up with ego and self-importance? Present application?

Hebrews 9:23-10:4. Verse 28, if I conduct myself today as one who looks for Christ to appear the second time, how would others notice?

Matthew 10:27-33. What specific fear or worry is lifted off me today by remembering that I have a Father who values every sparrow—and values me infinitely more?
