Bible Monday 5/6: Schisms

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 25:1-22. Verse 7, what is something I said or did yesterday that I don’t want God to remember? What would I have him remember about me instead?

Exodus 8:1-32. Pharaoh’s broken promises. When have I been lied to and cheated? Or have done so to others? How did God show up? Present application?

I Corinthians 1:1-17. Verses 10-13, what can I and my church do for closer fellowship with everyone who loves Jesus Christ, doctrines and denominations aside?

John 5:1-16. Verses 6-8, might there be right now a direct question Jesus is asking me, to which my answer has so far been equivocal or off point? What should my answer be to him?
