Bible Tuesday 5/14: More than Enough

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 45:1-17. Verse 11 KJV, is my church, desirable to King Jesus, beautiful in his eyes, a fitting bride for Christ? How is this to be evaluated? What’s my role in it?

Exodus 16:1-36. Fed with manna and quail. Verse 12, have I recently murmured against God in any way? Verse 20, have I recently cut corners on God’s instructions to me?

I Corinthians 11:17-34. Verses 26-29, what is the Lord’s Supper to me? How can I know if I’m partaking of it worthily or unworthily? Why does it matter?

John 6:1-14. Verse 11, why did Jesus give thanks before the food had proved sufficient for everyone? What can I learn from this?
