Bible Monday 7/15: Divine Appointment

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 9:1-20. Verse 19 KJV, let not man prevail. What person is an obstacle right now, standing between me and a good outcome? What help with this do I need from God today?

Numbers 8:1-26. Verses 24 and 25, aging into or out of a particular assignment from God. How does this apply to the stage where I find myself in life right now?

Acts 10:1-16. God sends visions preparing Cornelius and Peter to meet each other. When have I connected with a stranger as if by divine appointment (opposite of Psalms 9:19)? Application to present needs?

Mark 7:1-16. Verses 10-13, how does the worldly mind divide children from their parents nowadays? What’s behind this? What is my church doing about it? My role?
