Bible Monday 7/29: Fixed

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 57:1-11. Verse 7 KJV, what’s specifically involved in keeping my heart fixed on God today? What will work against that? How shall I counter?

Numbers 22:1-41. Verses 27-31, Balaam’s donkey sees the angel before he does. When have I been stupid and stubborn against God’s word to me? Present application?

Acts 15:1-21. Verse 10, a yoke no one can bear. How does legalism slip into my Christian walk or my relations with other believers? How does it slip into the life of my church?

Mark 10:32-45. Verses 37 and 43, in all honesty, what part of my conduct as Jesus’ disciple is more about getting than giving? Action point for today?
