Bible Tuesday 7/30: All In

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 62:1-12. Verse 3 KJV, imagining mischief. How does my imagination tend toward sin, disobedience, or rebellion? What is God’s remedy for this day?

Numbers 23:1-30. Verse 19 KJV, God can’t lie. Since this is God’s character and the Bible is God’s word, what offers, assurances, and promises from him can I utterly rely on today?

Acts 15:22-29. Verse 26, Barnabas and Paul risking their lives for Jesus. What have I risked for Jesus recently? Action point?

Mark 10:46-52. Verses 47 and 48, crying to Jesus urgently and desperately. Dare I take this risk? When he asks what I want, verse 51, how shall I answer?
