Bible Wednesday 7/31: Tender Mercies

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 119:73-96. Verse 77 KJV, how has God been not just merciful to me, but tenderly so? Who needs tenderness from me today?

Numbers 24:1-25. Verse 13, how do material risks, rewards, or comforts inject themselves between me and God? Action point for today?

Acts 15:30-41. Verse 39, when have I been sharply at odds with a fellow Christian? What did I learn? Present application?

Mark 13:1-13. Verses 9-11, realistically what opportunity might I soon have to witness for Jesus under high pressure, high stakes? How shall I prepare?
