Bible Thursday 8/15: Without Fail

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Ps 115:1-18. Verse 2, what’s happening right now with me, my family, or my church that could make doubters say “God let them down”? What’s my answer (His answer) to that?

Joshua 3:1-17. Verse 10 KJV, related question, how would it help me get through this day if I have the assurance that God will “without fail” meet a particular need of mine?

John 2:1-12. Verse 5, in what specific way can I draw nearer Jesus today by following Mary’s precept, “Whatever he says to you, do it”?

Luke 2:41-50. Verse 49 KJV, as best I can tell, what is “my Father’s business” with me today, his agenda, intention, or charge to me? What is the role of Jesus the Son, fully God and fully man, in accomplishing that?
