Bible Monday 2/24: Unity of Believers

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 133:1-3. Is the unity of all Christian churches and believers in my community good, fair, or poor? Why does it matter? My role?

Jeremiah 21:1-14. Jeremiah gives the king bad news from God. What individuals or institutions bring God’s warnings to America’s leaders today? Is anyone listening? My role?

Romans 9:1-13. Verses 2-5, Paul grieves for the many Jews who don’t know Christ. What unsaved person is on my heart today? Action point?

Matthew 13:36-43. If it’s the angels’ job to condemn and cast out whatever offends Jesus, on his timing, what’s my job in regard to those things here and now? How am I doing?
