Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?
Psalms 114:1-8. Verse 1 KJV, what are some examples of me as a Christian speaking an entirely different language from what the world speaks? In what language does God want me to pray?
Jeremiah 12:1-17. Verse 1, what does God seem to be permitting right now that is unfair, illogical, unlike him? When I ask him why, does any answer come?
Romans 5:12-21. Verses 17 and 21, for me is eternal life part of my present experience or waiting in the future? How would I explain this to a non-believer?
Matthew 12:15-21. Verse 20, The Message says this means Christ won’t walk over others’ feelings or push them into a corner. How can I apply this with people I encounter today?
