Bible Monday 9/21: Step by Step

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 57:1-11. Verse 1 KJV, living this day under the shadow of God’s wing, how will I benefit? What’s asked of me in return?

Job 28:1-28. Job’s hymn to wisdom. For me at present, where is wisdom most needed? What counterfeits must I see through? What will the process of seeking it from God, and applying it, look like?

II Corinthians 4:16-5:8. Verse 16, this week, how can I partake more fully of God’s daily renewal of my inward man? Verse 7, in my life right now, where am I most required to walk by faith?

Luke 8:19-21. To please the Father and the Son, what are some ways I need to heed family considerations more, and ways I need to heed them less?
