Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?
Psalms 63;1-11. Verse 8 KJV, going along through this day, how will I act differently if I’m following hard after God, not just routinely following after him?
Job 29:1-15. Job laments for the good times. What’s a chapter in my life I’d love to relive? In that I can’t, what does God want me to learn from those memories, in order to make today better?
II Corinthians 5:9-21. Verse 20, with Covid and all the other upheaval, who may now be ready to receive me as an ambassador for Christ, and how should I go about that?
Luke 8:22-25. What have I been doing or not doing lately that might prompt Jesus to ask me that tough question, “Where is your faith?”
