Bible Friday 12/17: Young Believers

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 119:1-48. Verse 9 KJV, how have so many institutions of our society turned to letting young people have their way, rather than helping them learn The Way? What is my church doing about it?

Daniel 9:1-27. Daniel again communes with the angel Gabriel for Jerusalem’s benefit. How can I posture myself for an angel encounter today?

Revelation 19:11-21. The Word of God, Jesus on a white horse, makes war on his enemies. What is required of me today, if I am to partake of his victory?

Matthew 23:37-39. Jesus with different symbolism, that of a mother hen. How can I go through this day, doing what I must, and yet remaining under his protecting wings?
