Bible Thursday 3/4: Start the Day Right

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 5:1-12. Verse 3, is God my very first priority every morning? What gets in the way of that? Action point for a better approach?

Proverbs 13:1-25. Verse 20, in person or through media, what wise companions should I draw nearer to? What unwise companions should I separate myself from? How can I tell them apart?

Romans 9:1-13. Do I think of myself as having been born in God’s family or as having been adopted into it through Christ? What difference does it make in the way I approach this day and every day?

Matthew 15:29-39. Verses 30 and 31, who is in great need of healing today? How do I go about placing that person at Jesus’ feet>
