Bible Wednesday 3/3: A Mother's Plea

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 2:1-12. Verses 2-6, what restraints placed by God upon human conduct does the worldly mind seek to throw off? Why does God laugh at this threat? Relevance to current events?

Proverbs 12:1-28. Verse 25, who has a heavy heart today, to whom I can say a good word with Christ’s love?

Romans 8:31-39. What influence seems most potent in trying to separate me from the love of Christ? How can I repel that attack today and stay close to Him?

Matthew 15:21-28. Desperate mother won’t take no for an answer from Jesus. What loved one needs me to risk all in coming to his or her aid at this time?
