Bible Monday 4/26: Meal Ticket

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 132:1-18. Verses 2-5, David’s vow to do his utmost for God’s glory, subordinating himself. Suppose I revised my plans for this day according to that same standard?

Exodus 15:1-27. Moses raises a victory song, Miriam echoing him. If I offer God a song or poem of triumphant gratitude this morning, what are some of his blessings I would celebrate?

Revelation 15:1-4. Verse 3, why is the song of the Lamb, Christ crucified and risen, even more powerful than the song of Moses? Taking it as my anthem for 2021, what kingdom victories can I aspire to?

John 6:22-29.Do I sometimes seek Jesus for the wrong reason? How can I get myself right on this?
