Bible Sunday 10/3: Full of Light

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 84:1-12. Verse 11 KJV, walk uprightly. What must I do and not do today, to be fitted to experience God’s goodness?

I Chronicles 10:1-14. King Saul dies for his transgression. With honest self-appraisal, what is there in the pattern of my thoughts and actions that risks putting myself outside the protection of God? Action point?

Galatians 5:16-26. Verses 22 and 23, fruits of the Spirit. Which one or two of these shall I especially seek to live out more fully, with God’s help, from now to the end of the year?

Luke 11:33-36. What exactly is Jesus offering to do for my eyesight? What exactly is the light he wants to fill me with? How can I start partaking of this today?
