Bible Friday 11/21: Joseph of Arimathea

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 56:1-13. Verse 13, what will it look like for me to walk before God today? What will the light of the living do for me?

II Chronicles 29:1-36. King Hezekiah summons the people back to God. What would revival look like in my household? In my church? In my community? In my country?

Revelation 9:1-12. Verse 4, how can I know that God’s seal is on my forehead? Having it, how shall I fight back against the locust-plague afflicting humankind in these wicked times?

Luke 23:50-56. What were the qualities endowed by God on those few persons who did not desert the dead Jesus? How can I put those qualities into practice today, here and now?
