Bible Saturday 11/22: Forecast: Cold Front

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 62:1-12. Verses 10 and 11, how am I tempted today to put too much trust in money and material possessions and too little trust in God’s word of power?

II Chronicles 30:1-27. Hezekiah reinstates the passover for all the people. During the season of holidays (holy days) for the next 40 days, what can I do to foster revival in my family and in my church?

Revelation 9:13-21. The refusal to repent becomes a self-imposed death sentence for countless sinners. What specific repentance in thought and deed is required for me to be reconciled to God today?

Matthew 24:1-14. Verse 12, how do we see the professed “love” of many Christians growing cold in these wicked times? What harm is done? How can I keep my love warm and active day by day?
