Bible Tuesday 11/25: Many Eyes Are on Us

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 69:1-36. Verse 6, who may be looking at me today for an example of how Christians think, speak, and act? What are the specific points of “must do” and “must no do” that Jesus expects of me?

II Chronicles 33:1-25. Manasseh starts as a bad king, raising all hell, then becomes a fairly good king after God shows him hell. When did I have to learn the hard way to love and honor God? How can I pay it forward?

Revelation 11:11-19. A trumpet blast from the seventh angel brings woe on earth and glory in heaven. If Jesus comes back today, what do I want him to find me doing?

Matthew 24:36-44. Related, what qualities that God endowed on Noah, equipping him to stand for righteousness when so many others fell away, shall I ask him to endow upon me for this darkening day?
