Bible Wednesday 11/26: ASAP

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 70:1-5. What situation in my life right now causes me to ask God to hurry up, delay no more, act ASAP? Is the answer more haste on his part or more trust on my part?

II Chronicles 34:1-33. Under King Josiah, the book of laws that God gave Moses is rediscovered. What would revival look like over the coming year in my family? In my church and community? My role?

Revelation 12:1-17. Mary and her holy child defeat Satan, the Devil, the old serpent or dragon. Verse 11, what is the word of my testimony by which I can overcome the enemy, the accuser, this very day?

Matthew 24:45-51. What specific sins must I resist as time wears me down, as the road I’m to walk in following Jesus proves longer and harder than I expected?
