Bible Wednesday 6/4: How to Pray

Studying this morning's readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 85:1-13. What am I to do about God’s wrath and anger? How shall I face up to them today, in order to experience his mercy, peace, salvation and righteousness?

I John 5:14-21. What opportunity can I find today to help a brother or sister turn from sin and find new life in Christ?

John 15:18-25. How, if at all, do I experience from day to day the world hating me as it hates Jesus? What if I could find a way to not always play it so safe?
