Bible Sunday 6/15: Shook Up

Studying this morning's readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 109:1-31. Verse 4, give myself to prayer. How would today look different if I were committed to prayer as a way of life, not merely a box to check?

Acts 4:23-31. Verse 31, related, if my church put Jesus more in the center of our prayers as the early church did, wouldn’t such prayer more powerfully shake things up?

Matthew 28:16-20. Related again, how could my church more powerfully evangelize all comers with a saving knowledge of the Trinity—Father, Son, and Spirit?
