Bible Tuesday 8/12: His Face

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 105:1-45. Verse 4, if I want to seek God’s face today, what attitudes and actions does that require on my part?

Joshua 2:1-24. The prostitute Rahab becomes a secret ally for the Israelites inside Jericho. When has God arranged a highly unlikely solution for troubles I was facing? Application to present needs?

Acts 22:30-23:10. Paul outwits his Jewish persecutors by pleading the hope of resurrection. How can the hope of resurrection change things in my favor today?

Mark 11:20-26. What unfinished business of forgiving someone must I attend to right now, in order to put myself in right standing for God to answer my prayers?
