Psalms 68:1-35. Verses 5 and 6, God’s special care for widows, orphans, and lonely souls with no family. How can I actively participate with him in that care today?
Hebrews 10:32-39. Verse 38, the just shall live by faith. What am I tempted to live by instead—effort, money, connections, ability, brains, luck, politics, entitlement? Why is faith in God better than any of these?
Matthew 7:1-6. When was I slow to realize that my disagreement with someone was less due to the speck in their eye than to the log in my own eye? Application to present needs?
