Bible Monday 8/14: Unmoved

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalm 89:1-52. Verse 15 KJV, what is the joyful sound referenced here? How do I know I know it?  How can others tell I know it?

Joshua 7:1-26. By what spiritual law can the secret sin of one person pollute an entire group, church, or family? (Compare with the dishonest couple in Acts 5). Prayer point?

Acts 20:17-38. Verse 24 KJV, evidently Paul knew the joyful sound. What enabled him to say "None of these things move me"? How can this bless me today, or bless someone I know?

Mark 12:13-17. How clear are Christians in these times about rendering to God and Caesar? What are the consequences? What is my church doing about it?
