Bible Sunday 4/7: Wall of Fire

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 145:1-21. Verse 18, call on him in truth. What’s a name for God, fitted to my need but less often heard, that I can use in praying to him today?

Zechariah 2:1-13. Verse 4, God protects us with a wall of fire. In what specific way do I need that protection today?

Philippians 2:12-30. Verse 15 KJV, what’s crooked and perverse about our world right now? How can I shine some light into that today? What would be the wrong way to attempt that, deserving rebuke?

Matthew 24:29-35. Verse 35, what are some words of Jesus I can rely on when everything seems to be collapsing, chaos taking over? Application for this day?
